Physical Reality

Before streaming, before algorithms, there were video store aisles. That childhood sense of discovery, of possibility promised by physical things, is where Physical Reality begins. The work borrows from the horror section, replicating twisted faces and extreme typography at large scale in paint and tufted rugs. The imagery is repulsive and seductive in equal measure. The scale is unavoidable. These are not objects you look at. They are objects that look back.
